Member States give mixed review of implementation of CAP national strategic plans in 2023

On Tuesday 12 December, the EU agriculture ministers agreed that the strategic plans implementing the new Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) could be improved to make them more effective.

For Italy, the Commission’s report on the strategic plans “highlights the inadequacy of the financial envelope allocated to the CAP”.
