Public consultation on EU directive on water pollution by agricultural nitrates

01/12/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 1 December, the European Commission launched a public consultation to assess the effectiveness of Directive 91/676/EEC concerning the protection of waters against pollution caused by nitrates from agricultural sources and whether it is in line with the objectives of the ‘European Green Deal’.
