European Parliament approves a report on digitalisation of administrative processes

On Wednesday 22 November, MEPs adopted by a large majority – 531 votes in favour, 17 against and 66 abstentions – the own-initiative report by Karen Melchior (Renew Europe, Danish) aimed at digitalising European administrative procedures (see EUROPE B13211A20).

This text aims to introduce new legislative standards to improve administrative management. According to MEPs, such regulations would increase administrative transparency and efficiency within the EU. They stress the need to...
