European Commission working on taxonomy for mining activities

09/11/23 (Agence Europe) – Mairead McGuinness, the European Commissioner for Financial Services, announced at the Ecofin Council on Thursday 9 November that the Platform on Sustainable Finance was working on mining criteria for the EU taxonomy. The Chair of the platform will inform the Member State expert group on sustainable finance of the progress made at the next meeting on Monday 11 December.
