23/08/2023 (Agence Europe) – The public consultation period for updating the regulatory acts for implementing the Emissions Trading System (ETS) is drawing to a close. The eight draft laws covering various aspects, such as emissions monitoring, allowance auctioning rules, the registry regulation, the climate neutrality plan for installations and, finally, the maritime sector, newly integrated into the ETS, will be closing to public comment from 23 August to 1 September.
