Horizon Europe 2025-2027 strategic plan, European Commission proposes 10 new partnerships

On Tuesday 18 July, the European Commission announced that it had put forward a portfolio of 10 proposals for new European partnerships to the Member States and countries associated with Horizon Europe.

In accordance with Annex III of the Horizon Europe regulation (regulation EU/2021/695), this process of identifying new partnerships concerns future partnerships co-programmed and co-funded under Horizon Europe that will be launched during the second half of the programme’s implementation. Institutionalised European partnerships are not included in this process.

The Commission will now begin a co-creation phase with the Member States and associated countries.

Stakeholders will be able to provide detailed feedback on the proposed new partnerships, as well as submitting additional new partnership suggestions, during a structural consultation to be held from July to September.

The final portfolio of European partnerships should be formalised when the Horizon Europe strategic plan for 2025-2027 is adopted.
