European Commission approves extensions to Greek aid scheme for non-residential electricity consumers

The European Commission announced on Wednesday 17 May that it had approved, under the Temporary Crisis and Transition Framework (see EUROPE B13138A1), the modification of a Greek scheme initiated on 3 October 2022 (see EUROPE B13034A4) to support non-residential electricity consumers affected by the consequences of the Russian military aggression against Ukraine.

The amendment includes a budgetary increase of the aid scheme of €600 million.
