Pollinators were in the spotlight on Monday 6 March at the European Parliament’s Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety, where the recent Court of Justice judgment condemning the misuse of emergency derogations (Article 53 of the Pesticides Regulation) to use banned bee-killing neonicotinoids and the EU’s revised plan to reverse the decline of pollinators by 2030 were discussed.
