Zoonoses and food-borne outbreaks, EFSA publishes guidance for 2022 data reporting

31/01/2023 (Agence Europe)The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) on 30 January published a technical report to guide EU Member States and third countries in the transmission of 2022 data on zoonoses, food-borne outbreaks and antimicrobial resistance in XML using the application it has created (Data Collection Framework - DCF). In particular, this transmission is required under Directive 2003/99/EC on the monitoring of zoonoses and zoonotic agents and Regulation (EU) 2017/625 on official controls. This guide explains in detail the individual data elements that are included in the EFSA data models to be used.
