31/01/2023 (Agence Europe) – As part of its ‘Consolidator Grants 2022’ programme, the European Research Council (ERC) announced on Tuesday 31 January that it has selected 321 researchers to share a total of €657 million under the Horizon Europe research framework programme. These grants should enable them to consolidate their careers and build up a research team with up to €2 million over a period of 5 years, in proportion to the duration of the research. The ERC awards these grants to researchers, regardless of nationality, conducting research at a host research institution located in the European Union or one of the Horizon Europe associated states and demonstrating 7 to 12 years of excellence since obtaining their PhD. All research areas are eligible. Link to projects: https://aeur.eu/f/54y (EV)
