MEPs endorse European Parliament/EU Council agreement on ‘Sustainable Batteries’ regulation

24/01/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 24 January, the members of the European Parliament’s Environment Committee (ENVI) unanimously (74 votes for,0 against, 0 abstentions) confirmed the provisional Interinstitutional Agreement reached in December 2022 on the proposed regulation on batteries and battery waste (see EUROPE B13081A5).
