18/01/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 18 January, the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) announced that four EIT-supported companies had won grants from the European Innovation Council (EIC). These companies are Innitius, Avatar Medical, Time is brain and Gate to Brain. This brings to seven the number of start-ups previously supported under the EIT “Health Catapult” grant that have now been selected for support from the EIC. The EIC accelerator offers start-ups and SMEs grants of up to €2.5 million, combined with equity investments by the EIC Fund ranging from €500,000 to €15 million.
