EU27 to hold “in-depth” debate on migration in early February 2023

15/12/2022 (Agence Europe) – The President of the European Council, Charles Michel, said, on Thursday 15 December, that the heads of state or government of the Member States will hold “in-depth” debate on migration at an extraordinary European summit scheduled for Thursday 9 and Friday 10 February 2023, in order to give political guidance to the European legislator. This extraordinary summit will also discuss measures to strengthen the competitiveness of European companies in response to the US Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) (see other news). (MB)
