European Commission adopts Danish and Latvian national programmes implementing EMFAF 2021-2027

On Tuesday 6 December, the European Commission adopted the Danish and Latvian programmes implementing the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF) covering the period 2021-2027.

The total financial envelope for the Danish 2021-2027 programme is €287 million, with an EU contribution of almost €201 million. Denmark has chosen to devote 86% of the programme’s allocation to sustainable fisheries and resource conservation. The remaining 8% will be invested in sustainable...
