01/07/2022 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission announced on Thursday 30 June that it has informed Member States that it will allocate €520 million for space research and innovation projects by mid-October under Horizon Europe. These funds will be directed, among other things, to: - the competitiveness of the European space system (including satellite communication and electrical propulsion); - access to space for European actors (including, for example, low-cost and reusable launchers); - the evolution of the services of the earth observation system Copernicus; - technological non-dependence; quantum space gravimetry; - education and skills; - the use and applications of Galileo, Copernicus and GOVSATCOM.
