01/07/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 30 June the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) launched a call for proposals from organisations representing SMEs and societal stakeholders in standardisation activities. The deadline for applications is 27 September 2022. The total budget amounts to €4.9 million. Standardisation is becoming increasingly important at the European level, especially since the European Commission presented a strategy in early February to “take back control” of the standardisation process (see EUROPE 12882/3).
