‘serious cross-border health threats’ regulation, likely approval of provisional agreement on 29 June in EU Council

24/06/2022 (Agence Europe) – The French Presidency of the Council of the European Union informed the delegations of the Member States during the Ambassadors’ meeting (Coreper I) on Friday 24 June of the political agreement reached the previous day between the European Parliament and the EU Council on a regulation on serious cross-border health threats (see EUROPE 12978/18). The text will be placed on the agenda for approval at the Coreper I meeting on Wednesday 29 June. In addition, the agreement is expected to be presented to the European Parliament at the meeting of the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety on 13 July. (EV)
