24/06/2022 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission adopted, on Friday 24 June, the partnership agreement with the Netherlands on the implementation of the national strategy for cohesion policy investments, which will amount to €2 billion for the period 2021-2027, it said in a press release. Part of these funds will go to the ecological transition, with €240 million from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) dedicated to increasing the share of renewable energy sources. €623 million from the Just Transition Fund (JTF) will go to Dutch regions with important emission-intensive industrial clusters and €413 million will go via the European Social Fund+ to retrain workers.
