Green light for Croatian support for maize seed producers in context of invasion of Ukraine

On Thursday 23 June, the European Commission authorised a €1 million Croatian scheme to support maize seed producers in the context of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The support was authorised under the State aid Temporary Crisis Framework adopted by the Commission on 23 March 2022. 

Eligible beneficiaries will be eligible for limited amounts of aid in the form of direct grants. The measure will be open to companies of all sizes in the maize seed production sector affected by the...
