18/06/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 18 June, the European Commission announced €20 million in humanitarian aid for Algeria, Libya and Egypt. Nine million euros will support the Sahrawi refugees in Algeria with food, nutrition, and access to drinking water. It will also help the most vulnerable access healthcare and education. Six million euros will help extremely vulnerable people in Libya access healthcare, education, shelter, protection services and meet their basic needs. Five million euros will help vulnerable refugees and asylum seekers in Egypt access protection services and education, and help them meet their most basic needs. (CG)
