Commission refers Italy to EU Court of Justice for violation of EU drinking water requirements

The European Commission decided on Wednesday 9 June to refer Italy to the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) because of persistently high levels of arsenic and fluoride in drinking water in some areas of the Lazio region and the province of Viterbo.
