09/06/2021 (Agence Europe) – The spokesman for the European External Action Service, Peter Stano, announced on Wednesday 9 June the resumption of political dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo, with a meeting of the leaders of both countries on Tuesday 15 June in Brussels. Serbia will be represented by its President, Aleksandar Vučić, and Kosovo by its new Prime Minister, Albin Kurti. The dialogue will be facilitated by the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, and the EU Special Representative for the Serbia-Kosovo Dialogue, Miroslav Lajčák. Mr Stano explained that Messrs Vučić and Kurti will discuss the way forward in this dialogue. The last such meeting, held in September 2020 in Brussels, focused on economic cooperation and the issue of missing and displaced persons (see EUROPE 12554/14). (CG)
