31/05/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 31 May, the European Commission approved new modifications to operational programmes for Austria and Belgium for a total of seven million euros. Austria is expected to receive an additional six million euros under the Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived (FEAD) within the REACT-EU framework. In Belgium, an additional one million euros should be allocated to the German-speaking community under the European Social Fund (ESF). A website to monitor REACT-EU is expected to be launched shortly, once the “critical mass” of 10% of the operational programmes are reprogrammed. So far, about 6% of operational programmes have been amended, we are told. This site should be similar in nature to the dashboard dedicated to the implementation of the CRII and CRII+ initiatives (https://bit.ly/33QIC96 ). (PH)
