‘climate law’, Member States’ ambassadors to EU endorse interim agreement

05/05/2021 (Agence Europe) – As expected, the Member States’ ambassadors to the EU (Coreper) validated the interim agreement on the ‘Climate Law’ on Wednesday 5 May. The text was agreed on Wednesday 21 April between negotiators from the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament(see EUROPE B12703A1) and aims to make the EU’s climate targets legally binding.
