31/03/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 31 March, the European Commission disbursed €90 million in macro-financial assistance to Albania to support the country in its fight against Covid-19. This disbursement will help mitigate the severe negative socio-economic consequences of the pandemic. The policy conditions for the disbursement of the €180 million aid package include strengthening public finances and financial sector resilience, improving governance and the fight against corruption, and enhancing social protection.
