European Commission consults on ways to improve taxpayers’ rights

Brussels, 11/03/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday, 10 March, the European Commission launched a public consultation on how to improve taxpayers’ rights and simplify tax obligations. The responses received will contribute to a Recommendation to Member States and a Communication—both expected in the third quarter of 2021—that together will form “the Charter of taxpayers’ rights” that the European Commission announced in its July action plan (see EUROPE B12528A2).
