14/12/2020 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission announced on Monday 14 October the launch of the mobile version of its Re-open EU website. The latter, created for travellers, compiles information on the health situation in the Member States and on the measures they have taken in response to the Covid-19 pandemic (see EUROPE 12506/32). A Re-open EU app is now available for Android and iOS phones. The information is available “in the 24 official EU languages, using verified data from the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control and the Member States”, says the Commission. However, last October (see EUROPE 12591/3), the institution saw fit to take the latter to task, asking them to submit updated information “on a timely basis”, as well as data that is regional, as opposed to strictly national.
