15/06/2020 (Agence Europe) – As most EU Member States reopened their borders on Monday 15 June (see EUROPE 12504/1), the European Commission launched its Re-open EU website. The implementation of this tool was announced last May when the Commission presented its guidelines on the resumption of tourism activities (see EUROPE 12486/5). The site, in the form of an interactive map, is intended to help travellers plan their trips. It provides real-time, country-by-country access to information on borders, available means of transport, travel restrictions, national health measures in force and a variety of practical information for travellers. However, Re-open EU does not currently have any data concerning the Schengen associated countries and the United Kingdom. To access the site: https://reopen.europa.eu/ (AC)
