10/12/2020 (Agence Europe) – The High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, called on Montenegro to continue its reforms on Wednesday 9 December. Congratulating the Speaker of Parliament, Aleksa Bečić, the Prime Minister, Zdravko Krivokapić, the Deputy Prime Minister, Dritan Abazović, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Đorđe Radulović, on their appointments during a videoconference, Mr Borrell welcomed their commitment to the EU’s reform agenda. “The months ahead should be used to advance on political reforms, particularly in the area of the rule of law”, he stressed during their conversation. He also highlighted Montenegro’s strong record of full alignment with EU security and foreign policy positions and the country’s contributions to EU CSDP missions and operations. (CG)
