10/12/2020 (Agence Europe) – Eleven more financial institutions signing the Finance for Biodiversity was welcomed on Tuesday 8 and Wednesday 9 December at an online event organised by the European Commission EU Business @ Biodiversity Platform in cooperation with the Belgian federal government and the Flemish government, The Shift and the Association of Chartered Accountants (ACCA). A total of 37 banks, insurers, asset managers and investors, with nearly €4.8 trillion in assets under management, have collectively committed to collaborating, assessing their own biodiversity impact and setting targets by 2024 at the latest.
