30/11/2020 (Agence Europe) – Abolishing the free emission allowances granted to airlines under the EU Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS - see EUROPE B12560A15) could raise a billion euros a year, according to a report unveiled on Sunday 29 November, which had been carried out by the research institute, the Öko-Institut, at the request of the Transport and Environment (T&E) organisation.
