Economic and Financial Affairs Council (videoconference). – Combating money laundering and terrorist financing: debate on Council conclusions on the Commission’s action plan of 7 May 2020 on the prevention of money laundering. – Non-performing loans; update by the Commission on the implementation of the 2017 action plan on non-performing loans in the banking sector and presentation of its next action plan on this issue. – ‘European Semester’: the Presidency will present two texts of EU Council conclusions on the European Semester, concerning the Special Report of the European Court of Auditors on the European Semester 2020 and the 2021 Annual Strategy for Sustainable Growth. – EU statistics: exchange of views on Council conclusions on EU statistics – Annual report 2020 of the European Fiscal Board: the president of the committee, Niels Thygesen, will present the committee’s annual report 2020. – International meetings: the Presidency and the Commission will provide information on discussions held at the G20 finance ministers and central bank governors meeting and at the annual meetings of the IMF and the World Bank in October. – Other business: presentation of the state of play of the legislative proposals on financial services and of the proposal to amend the Directive on administrative cooperation in the field of taxation (DAC7).
