Anna Cavazzini elected Chair of European Parliament committee

Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection (IMCO) MEPs elected Anna Cavazzini (Greens/EFA, Germany) by acclamation on Monday 26 October.

Mrs Cavazzini is serving her first term in the European Parliament (see EUROPE B12581A30), succeeding Petra de Sutter (Greens/EFA, Belgium), who became a federal minister in the Belgian government (see EUROPE B12572A37).
