26/10/2020 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 26 October, the second, third and fourth vice-chairs of the European Parliament Special Committee on Foreign Interference in all Democratic Processes in the European Union (INGE) were elected by approval by videoconference. The Chair, Raphaël Glucksmann (S&D, France), and the Vice-Chair, Javier Zarzalejos (EPP, Spain), were elected on 23 September (see EUROPE 12566/15), but the rest of the officers could not be appointed because of the lack of female candidates. The MEPs elected Morten Løkkegaard (Renew Europe, Denmark) as second Vice-Chair, Dace Melbārde (ECR, Latvia) as third Vice-Chair and Włodzimierz Cimoszewicz (S&D, Poland) as fourth Vice-Chair. (CG)
