The European Commission announced on Thursday 30 July that it has selected five new cross-border collaboration projects that are aimed at developing excellence in vocational training in Europe.
These new platforms – or “centres of professional excellence” – were in response to a call for tenders organised within the framework of Erasmus+. They were selected from among 55 applications, involving 167 partner organisations from 17 Member States and 4 other countries participating in the Erasmus+ programme.
The selected projects represent more than 1,300 partner organisations from the 27 Member States and 25 non-Member States. They respectively involve green innovation, microelectronics, the furniture and wood sector, inclusion and green cities.
Each project will have a maximum budget of €4 million.
