Commission appoints a new Head of Representation in Sweden and a new Deputy Director-General in DG Agriculture

The European Commission decided on Wednesday 15 July to appoint Christian Danielsson as Head of the European Commission Representation in Sweden and Michael Scannell as Deputy Director-General in the Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development (AGRI).

Mr Danielsson, a Swedish national, is currently Director General for the Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations (NEAR). Previously, he was Deputy Secretary-General in the Secretariat-General of the Commission. Mr Danielsson...
