12/11/2019 (Agence Europe) – EU and South Korean officials and experts are meeting in Seoul on 11 November and in Sejong on 12 November to discuss and exchange good practices in competition policy during the first EU-Korea Competition Week. Competition Week opened on 11 November with a conference on the application of competition law in the digital economy. In an in camera session on 12 November, representatives of the European Commission and the Korea Fair Trade Commission (KFTC) discussed standards for merger review in innovation markets, mergers involving Big Data and fairness and transparency in antitrust and merger proceedings.
