The EU Foreign and Defence Ministers and the countries of the G5 Sahel (Mauritania, Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger and Chad) decided on Tuesday 14 May, at their joint meeting in Brussels, to further strengthen their cooperation in the fight against terrorism in the Sahel region.
