EU is sacrificing climate on altar of a trade agreement to be sought with Mr Trump, says Greenpeace

Greenpeace took the lead on Monday 15 April to call on the European Commission and Member States not to enter into trade negotiations with any country that is not an active participant in the UN Paris climate agreement. 

At the same time, the EU Council formally adopted two trade negotiating mandates for a limited trade agreement with the United States (see other news). 

Greenpeace fears that the infamous TTIP could be raised from the dead, despite concerns over the United States'...
