10/04/2019 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission adopted on Wednesday 10 April the Third Annual Report on the Turkey Facility for Refugees, which shows that by March 2019, contracts had been awarded for the full operational envelope of the first tranche of the Facility and more than €2 billion had been disbursed. Significant progress has been made in mobilising the second tranche, with €1.2 billion committed, €450 million contracted and €150 million disbursed in March 2019. Total contributions (EU budget and country contributions) amount to €6 billion (€3 billion committed for the period 2016-2017 and the same amount for the period 2018-2019).
