10/04/2019 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 10 April, the European Union withdrew nine Iraqi companies from the list of entities subject to restrictive measures (freezing of their assets), with publication in the Official Journal. These are the General establishment for Tharthar project, the Iraqi Broadcasting and Television Establishment, the Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Youth - General Directorate of Planning and Monitoring, section "Imports", the public establishment for irrigation projects, public companies for the Haditha, Himrin, Mosul dams and for small dams and regulators. This decision follows the decision of the Sanctions Committee of the United Nations Security Council on 4 April to lift sanctions against these entities.
