Commission to propose 4.7 million euros from EGF to help Portugal's clothing sector

10/09/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 7 September, the European Commission announced a loan of nearly €4.7 million from the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) to help former clothing workers in Portugal following the dismissal of 1,161 workers from two clothing factories in the north, centre and Lisbon.
