Investigation launches into actions of TenneT that may have sought to limit cross-border electricity capacity with Denmark

On Monday 19 March, the European Commission opened a formal investigation to determine whether TenneT TSO GmbH (TenneT), the largest German electricity transport manager, which manages the high-voltage electricity network in Germany, is guilty of violating the rules of EU competition law by limiting the electricity capacity from Western Denmark destined for Germany.
