European citizens may choose court in which they seek compensation when there is a connecting flight, Advocate General says

European Court of Justice (ECJ) Advocate General Michal Bobek said on Thursday 19 October in his opinion on joined cases C-274/16, C-447/16 and C-448/16 that European citizens could choose the judicial authority with which to lodge their claim for compensation following a flight with connection, the parts of which are operated by different airlines.
