At a conference on economic and trade relations between the EU and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries – Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates – which was organised at the European Parliament in Brussels on Wednesday 18 October, the participants called for closer dialogue on trade and investment between the two partners.
