The EU’s foreign affairs ministers, meeting in Council on Monday 15 May, will mainly focus on Africa.
The Council will thus hold a policy debate on relations between the EU and Africa, after publication on 4 May of the joint EU-EEAS communication for renewed impetus of the EU-Africa Partnership (see EUROPE 11715) and in preparation for the EU-Africa summit in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, at the end of November, the theme of which will be ‘investing in youth’.
