Council of EU to seek political agreement on reform of ETS post-2020

The reform of the European emissions trading system (ETS) for the period 2021-2030 will once again take up its fair share of the European ministers' attention at the meeting of the Environment Council, to be held in Brussels on Tuesday 28 February. It will be the main dossier of this session, which will be chaired by Jose A. Herrera, the Maltese Minister for Sustainable Development, the Environment and Climate Change.
