Parliament's green light to EU concluding protocol amending annex to WTO agreement on trade in civil aircraft

15/02/2017 (Agence Europe) – Following the recommendation of its rapporteur Inmaculada Rodríguez-Piñero Fernández (S&D), the European Parliament approved (by 657 votes in favour, 29 against and 14 abstentions) a Council draft decision on Wednesday 15 February concerning the conclusion, on behalf of the EU, of a 2015 protocol amending the annex to the WTO agreement on trade in civil aircraft.  With 32 signatories, this agreement removes the import duties on all aircraft (except...
