General outcry over Argentinean measures to counter imports of European products

Brussels, 29/06/2010 (Agence Europe) - During their meeting on Tuesday 29 June in Luxembourg, European agriculture ministers raised their voices in protest against measures taken by Argentina against imports of European agri-food products, such as tinned peaches from Greece and Danish dairy products. Since early May, the Argentine food institute has not issued any certificates for the free movement that was hitherto automatically granted to normal imports into Argentina. The instructions not...
