Majority of MEPs welcome signing of Swift agreement

Brussels, 29/06/2010 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 28 June, several members of the EPP, S&D and ECR groups welcomed the signing that day by the European Union and the United States of an agreement allowing the US to once more have access to Europeans' banking data held by the Swift company, via the US Terrorist Financing Tracking Programme (TFTP).
